         This book is  a  gem!!

Now that I have read it, I will order one sent directly to my oldest friend who has been living with metastatic breast cancer for 10 years.   She is an artist who will appreciate the paintings in addition to the message.

Leslye:  Thanks so much.  I  am also a survivor of 10 years of living a full and happy life with cancer.

Thank you for sharing your brand-new website with me. It's looking good! My sister works in child/adult mental health and child life, and I will share your website with her so she can see your books. She's always looking for resources to provide her clients. I also love the Life is a Revolving Puzzle sculpture!

Leslye:  Thanks for sharing my  website with your sister . Sharing  positivity  is a good way to improve mental health.

Thank You!   for the Bounce Back Boot Camp Handbook.  It's such a little book with BIG inspirations on staying strong, healthy, and joyful while battling life challenges with Cancer.

Leslye:  I've been battling 3 unrelated, advanced cancers for many years.  A positive attitude, determination, and the miracles of modern medicine make a huge difference in winning the battle.  Prayers and self-confidence always help.

I have read this “little” BIG book so many times, and each time I learn more for my patients.  The unfortunate cancer journey is different for all individuals, but there are common themes that help all.  This “little” BIG book addresses these fundamental themes so clearly and simply.  I am so appreciative of Leslye who took her own time and effort to bring this book to reality.  Her courage is an inspiration.

Leslye:  Thank you so much.

Your book is as inspiring as you are.  We feel so blessed to have you as our inspiration.  Keep spreading the word that the fight can be fought and life is worth it.

I have a very artistic friend whose husband was just killed in a motorcycle accident, and seeing your positivity and use of artistic outlet, I think your book could be a great benefit.  I shared your website with her.

Leslye:

Amazingly, my book has hit a note for recovery for families who have lost a loved one who died on a motorcycle.  Please share it with your friends.  It’s on Amazon and can also be purchased through my website:  www.LeslyeHeinPrum.com

When I first picked up this little book both the message and the artwork appealed to me immediately, and I wanted a copy just in case I knew someone, including perhaps myself, who might need the boost to turn from a dark mood of overwhelm to something more positive.   I glanced through it and noticed it had short do-able suggestions.  It’s not preachy but recognizes that sometimes you just don’t feel like smiling or being positive.  There are real tips on how to overcome that.

This book is  really full of simple statements but it packs a punch.   It cuts through negative thoughts and punctures self pity.  Such wisdom on every page!!

After my son was suddenly killed in a motorcycle accident,  I remembered the book and picked it up again.  This time it spoke to me vividly and in those first, most difficult weeks of adjusting to my new reality, Leslye’s little book gave me the tools to get through my day.  It doesn’t fix the hole in my heart, but I appreciate the simple suggestions.  I bought a second book so I have one to lend, but I keep my copy handy.

Leslye:  Thanks for sharing your  loss of a son.  I also lost my son on a motorcycle.  I'm so grateful that my book could help you through your grief.

I recommend this book to anyone going through a major illness or challenging obstacles in life.  Inspiring read from an inspiring individual.  I'd like to give a book to each of my patients.   Doctors could benefit, as well.

Leslye:  Thank you.

I recently read Leslye Prum's book Bounce Back Boot Camp Handbook for the second time.

I’m a senior in my 80’s and looked at it as therapeutic program for senior depression. It’s a way of training your brain.

I’d recommend this book to be read by all seniors. It would be great to be part of a discussion group for seniors living in a retirement community.  We usually age slowly and at some point, many of us begin to become depressed and think of age as a sickness without a positive cure.  The cure is understanding that it’s just another part of your life and it can be an incredibly happy time for you and your family and friends.

For starters:

1) You wake up happy with a smile and look forward to a well-planned day with fulfilling happy activities.  And with those that are a challenge, you’ll have the support of good friends and family.

2) During your day you can do things that are positive and happy and it's contagious.

3) You’ve bounced back from challenges and are now ready to enjoy your senior years.  At times It won’t be easy but with a positive happy attitude, life will be fulfilling.  You’ve learned to be an Optimist.

4) As pointed out in the book, you can visualize yourself as stronger,  healthier and more confident

5) And finally, look at Step 18.  You can’t control everything, so let go of things you can’t control and then, move in a different direction.

As Leslye points out, you’ll see that life becomes more manageable with less stress … and you’ll be more relaxed and happier.

Leslye:

Thanks  for your insights on coping with aging into senior years.  I'm so glad my book can help a wide

age range with a variety of challenges and make a positive impact.
